Melissa received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. After working as a registered nurse for several years in home health and labor and delivery, she returned to school to become a nurse midwife. She graduated from Georgetown University with her masters in science and nursing. She has a special passion for women’s health following in the footsteps of her father a now retired obgyn physician. Melissa is able to provide gynecologic and prenatal care for women of all ages and especially enjoys working with teens and young adults. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, all outdoor activities and spending time with her 1 year old puppy Mia.
