He earned his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn and completed his residency at Bellevue Hospital Center. Afterward, he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the same hospital. He is board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Tseng sees patients for preventative screening as well as various illnesses such as hemorrhoids, hepatitis B, Crohn’s disease, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and other intestinal issues. He provides CT scans, colonoscopy, and gastroscopy. I highly recommend Dr. Tseng if you are looking for a gastroenterologist. Dr. Tseng is not only thorough in his history taking, he makes you feel comfortable and heard. He thoroughly walked me through all preparation instructions prior to my procedure, and made sure I understood what to expect. I was impressed with how fast he reached out to my other doctors to discuss my medical history. He was also very helpful in referring me to other doctors when I needed further medical workup.

Super super professional. Made me feel EXTREMELY comfortable. He was so thorough and attentive, asked many questions, explained what he was thinking. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
The office space needs work and maybe the reception staff needs some more training but you're going to see him after all - not reception.
Definitely good option! Will go back to him time and time again!

Talking about what comes out of you in the bathroom can be weird, but the doctor's bedside manner was tops. Very friendly, relaxed, easy. A+, will stick with this choice. (The office might need a little decor love, but don't let that throw you off ;)

Dr. Tseng is an excellent doctor. He is thorough, patient and very intelligent. His bedside manner is wonderful and he never makes you feel rushed or unimportant. The procedures are done in his office which is more intimate than a hospital setting. He gets back to you when you have questions and all of your questions are important! He explains everything about your condition and the procedures he is doing. I live far and my commute isn't easy but I would not trust any other gastroenterologist besides Dr. Tseng.

Dr. Tseng is the best doctor of any kind I have ever visited, and I've seen him several times over the last decade. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, pays very close attention, pleasantly asks all the right questions to make sure you aren't leaving things out. And he's just a nice guy, too, funny and friendly. It's not always easy to discuss difficult medical things, but he makes it easy. I often leave a doctor visit thinking "that's it?", as if something was missing or overlooked, but with Dr. Tseng I have always felt like I am getting the most personal and thus most correct care possible.

I say no to ever going to this doctor starting with walking into the office. The office is dirty, disorganized and flat out unacceptable. I felt like I was walking into an underground clinic. As for the doctor, he wasn't thorough at all and I left lacking any confidence. To be specific, I had filled out a survey with symptoms that wasn't even looked at. The consult was spent going over the same questions and he completely left out some very important information until I brought it up. Additionally, I went for reflux and he failed to mention anything really about foods or diet. Being that I've gone to a gastro before for this I know that diet is a huge factor. Overall I just say nice guy but not someone I want as my doctor.
