Dr. Davenport grew up in Round Rock and is excited to be practicing medicine here at “home”. She completed medical school and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. She joined the UTMB faculty in August 2003 and built a busy private practice, while simultaneously serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor teaching medical students and residents. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Davenport thoroughly enjoys empowering her patients through their education. Her focus is on general obstetrics and gynecology with a special interest in obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, women’s health issues and laparoscopic (minimally invasive) gynecologic surgery.
Having recently (2011) had a baby of her own right here at Seton Medical Center Hays, she now is the only Kyle area OB/GYN with the experience to claim that "She delivers where she was delivered"!
Dr. Davenport lives in Kyle with her Air Force husband, three incredible children, and a cat named after her favorite Indian dish. She enjoys the outdoors and has competed in several half-marathon and triathlon events. She is eager to meet you soon and hopes to earn the trust and respect of you and your family.
