“I'm a very picky person when it comes to all aspects of my life but definitely very picky about who I'm going to choose to take care of me. Patricia was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and caring and attentive she listened to everything I had to say really took thought in what actions to take on my care. Her assistant was just as amazing as she was! The office was beautiful very clean the front staff was very kind. I'm not easy to please so for me to have nothing bad to say I give them 10 at stars out of five”

Patricia Shea Rodriguez is a Family Nurse Practitioner who believes in focusing on the whole patient to maintain or achieve a healthy lifestyle. Shea has a background in urgent and acute care but is excited to manage more chronic care conditions. She was a nurse for 19 years prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner and has experience in numerous nursing fields including OBGYN, postpartum, acute care, and neurology.
Shea earned her Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and completed her Master's in Family Nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She brings love and compassion to all her patients along with experience, knowledge, and education. Connecting and relating to patients is a blessing and passion of hers, and she will work to understand your unique situation.
Although she is originally a North Carolinian, Shea has been in Texas since 1990 and Austin since 1993. When she is not helping patients, she enjoys time with her husband of 27 years and their three boys, aged 19, 15, and 10. They always enjoy a good adventure, whether hiking or something simple like a walk with her fur baby, Ninja.

She didn’t really take my concerns seriously and was on her phone during the appointment. I’ve seen her several times now complaining about the same ailments and she’s very dismissive and does not empathize at all. I gave it several chances but I will not be coming back

I saw Patricia Rodriguez for the first time yesterday and was incredibly pleased with my visit. She had a student with her as well and you can just tell that she is that type of person that gets along great with people. Her bedside manner was caring and put you instantly at ease. She clearly read about me before coming in and asked many questions. I found her delightful and very knowledgeable.

I had a very positive experience with Shay Rodriguez. She was very easy to talk to, respectful, and warm. I was also seen by a student who was assisting her, Kara, who did a great job.
I was not as impressed with the overall service at Victory. Their staff was friendly but not organized. I waited exactly 30 minutes before being called back which is the max I will wait. I have now been billed for a possible fee that I was told was not owed. Also, they try to charge you at the beginning of the appointment which I have never experienced at any other provider's office. I declined - don't feel pressured to do this. May not return due to their disorganization.

Patricia Rodriguez was professional and a knowledgable practitioner. I actually worked with her years ago at a large hospital and sought her out for a PCP. This was my first time at this office-I was checked in quickly, was taken back to an examination room on time, and saw Patricia in less than five minutes. I work in health care and was very pleased with this experience-I will continue to see Patricia at Victory for my primary care.

My provider “shay” Rodriguez, was absolutely amazing. I felt that this provider listened well- I truly felt heard, comforted me, made me feel safe, and addressed all of my concerns.
