Dr McMain and his team were great and incredibly conscientious. We had a lot of catching up to do since we moved from overseas so needed to align immunizations to the USA. They were very thorough to make sure everything was correct and nothing was missed. We highly recommend him :)

Dr. McMains graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1996. He then attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and graduated in 2000. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee, and LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center from 2000-2003. He is board certified in Pediatrics.Dr. McMains has been practicing in Austin since 2004. He has been the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at St. David’s Medical Center since 2009.His professional memberships include the Travis County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association. Dr. McMains is an active leader in his church, Harvest Bible Chapel Austin. His outside interests include spending time with his family at their ranch, kayaking, and following Texas football. He is married and has one son.

Introduction :
I was there at Dr Merrick for my son's appointment, This is my son's first appointment in the USA, Knowing that we are new to the USA, Merrick has given us an detailed overview about the Hospital practices followed in the USA and what vaccinations should be covered ,etc.
Vaccination and Health check:
Dr Merrick was friendly with us, mentioned Do's and Dont's, best practices for my son, what to feed and all other things.

I have been coming to Longhorn Pediatrics since my 1st born (who is 10 yrs now) and I truly love Dr. Mc., Sarah and the staff. I love the respect that my kids are given, & the relationship I have established over time with Dr. McMains. 5 stars in my book. Thank you Longhorn Pediatrics.

Staff has always been welcoming from day 1... This office has also done a great job at getting me in for last minute appts w/ my daughter during those unexpected emergencies. Every visit has been a positive one & they do a great job at easing my worries as a first time mom.

Always a wonderful visit! We love Dr. McMains and his staff. Stephanie has been around since day one and we love her and all the girls. Dr. Mcmains is very detailed and asks just the right questions. He always makes no feel comfortable and really knows his work! Thanks!
