Dr. Richard has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. He began his training in India at Stanley Medical College, and then continued his education here in New York City completing his Internal Medicine training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Later he became a Cardiology fellow at Columbia University College of Physicians/Surgeons and continued on to become an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
After his education he was involved in numerous research projects and was a professor at UMDNJ School of Medicine in New Jersey. He then became the director of the first cardiac catheterization and interventional laboratory in Jersey City NJ. He has four board certifications including internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology He is one of the first cardiologist in Hudson county to have extensive training in varicose vein treatment. He has trained with leaders in the field of laser treatment, phlebotomy and spider vein treatment. He has been a leader in the field of vein and vascular therapy for over 10 years.
Currently he is in private practice owning and operating both Advanced Garden State Cardiology and Advanced Vein and Vascular.

This guy sucks. He ordered a bunch of expensive tests, requiring multiple visits. Then he declared that the problem was due to "stress."
