About Dr. Sarina Sachdev
Dr. Sarina Sachdev was born and raised in San Jose, California. She completed her medical school at American University of the Caribbean. She then moved to New York City for Internal Medicine Residency at NYU Langone. She did further training in Cardiology at the University of South Alabama University Hospital. And most recently, she completed her Interventional Cardiology training at Michigan State University Ascension Borgess Hospital. Her current career interests include coronary, peripheral, and TAVR interventions. She is also looking to expand on her interest in women’s cardiovascular health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time dancing, reading, and trying new and unique cuisines.

I was expecting a female doctor, but the doctor who did see me was a nice man (Dr Shah).
Hoping this cardiologist turns out to be better with follow up than the previous one I was using.

Seen by a very polite and nice nurse Wanda. Never saw a doctor Sarina Sachdev, MD so I can not leave a feedback for her. Went in for EKG and Wanda did a great job. After that, I waited for doctor to come back from his emergency matter just to be informed that the stress test will have to be scheduled next month. Not happy about that. Funny thing after that, I received the phone call from someone telling me that they noticed that I missed the appointment. hahaha. No communication between scheduling and actual office is more than obvious.

So I went with Apex for another cardiologist- they canceled on me the day of.
I had this doctor scheduled today ,and I went an hour out of my way to be at the office; upon arrival I was immediately notified that she wasn’t there because she also had an emergency and the staff was incredibly rude to me. Did not understand my frustration that I’m 34 and already had a heart attack and just suffered. I hate crime or for men being the hell out of me. My brain isn’t doing very well and I had two mini strokes.
Really answering my questions and I just simply asked. “Is it a doctor that’s coming or a provider?” ( provider isn’t a Dr) I took this Dr for a reason bc she had great ratings and all three of the office people were incredibly rude to me. They didn’t really have any empathy or understand my frustration. I never yell at anyone. I just simply said they did not answer my question bc they didn’t.

Dr. Sachdev was a fine doctor for the ten minutes I saw her for my first appointment. Never spoke to her again even though I went back for a couple follow ups. However, the office is a joke. Wait times are excruciating and most of the staff is unprofessional. The other doctors (PAs?) I spoke to were dismissive and did not take my concerns seriously. Avoid if you can.

I was super impressed and very happy with my visit. The staff was extremely helpful communicative friendly and efficient throughout my visit. The nurses physicians assistant and doctor Sachdev were extremely patient kind compassionate listened to all my concerns answered all my questions and I was extremely happy when I left. I felt as though I was truly cared for and I look forward to coming up with a game plan for my future health concerns and regimen. It’s very rare that you meet a doctor that really listens to you and expressed a comprehensive overview of my health and concerns. I feel grateful.

I don’t think this office has the resources to offer patients. I needed a holter monitor for a surgery but they were so vague about and said maybe June they might call me. It’s too far and it did not work out for me unfortunately

Really amazing staff, the ladies in the front run the place well even while busy. They are friendly and made my experience comfortable. When I got to meet with Dr.Sachdev, she was very caring, explained and listened. I am so happy I found this place, I travel all the way from Staten Island well worth it.

Horrible!! My appointment was changed to an earlier time. I showed up for the earlier appointment and was told the doctor left. I was not called to say the dr was leaving. I left work early and not even a courtesy call. The office is dirty and unprofessional. There were approximately 20 people in the waiting room. Horrible experience overall.
