I really only go in for an annual physical, because I keep myself pretty healthy. But one thing I love is that she always remembers me and is always interested in who I am outside of just medical questions. She remembers specific things, like the places I've been living in (I travel a lot). I really appreciate this. It makes me feel like she really cares and wants to know who I am as a person. The last two years my annuals have been telehealth visits, so I have not been into the office, but it's always on time and very simple.

I've been having physical discomfort that has been affecting my daily life for months, and reached out to Dr. Zhang in hope for possible remedies. On our first appointment, which lasted for 5 minutes top, Dr. Zhang seemed eager to hang up before I got to talk about my symptoms. She prescribed a blood test, and ended the call hastily saying that she can't make any judgements with no data at hand, which was reasonable, but that 5-minute talk was awkward and blunt, since I had to take hold of the conversation with her not being very responsive. A few days later, Dr. Zhang called back telling me that the blood test results were normal, and again, without saying anything else or even trying to address my discomfort, hung up hastily again. The call lasted for 41 seconds, leaving me feeling completely lost. Knowing that my blood test turned out fine doesn't make my sickness go away. Dr. Zhang offered the bare minimum to her patient, passively.

It was extremely transactional. I did not feel like the Dr really cared. I am a new patient and she did not inquire about my symptoms or status regarding my request for a prescription refill, just did it. When I asked about another issue, she knew immediately my insurance didn't cover "Wellness visits" and we awkwardly just... stopped talking about it. She said I could look into physical therapy myself and that was it. She barely made eye contact and I generally felt like my appointment and questions were an inconvenience. When I asked about a 3rd issue she said "lets manage one thing at a time" - even though we were only 10 minutes into my appointment starting and its an issue that hurts. She did make sure to tell me exactly how much it costs and if I knew how I would pay. Basically I felt like a customer, not a patient.

Incredibly dismissive of patient’s concerns. I have never seen a doctor this detached from a patient’s concerns before. Incredibly greedy, will keep bugging about copays herself (when the visit is still ongoing!!). I have never experienced such unprofessionalism before.

This was online, and it was great. I like her- she's very personable, she listens, and she remembers you. I'm pretty healthy, so I'm usually only there for an annual, so her remembering me is just a nice touch.

She did a very good job of explaining why I had certain medical conditions and the different options for how they should be treated. The medical office was very clean and I was seen as soon as I was done completing my new patient paperwork.

She listened to everything I said and understood what I was referring to. I felt terrible for all my stuttering and repeating words but she seemed to not mind at all. I will be coming back again!
