Dr. Frank is originally from the Washington D.C. area and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in biology. He received his Masters of Science degree in 1996 and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1999 from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, FL. Dr. Frank did his internship at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, NJ. He subsequently completed a two-year surgical residency at the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in Houston, Texas, where he received extensive training in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Frank is trained in both forefoot surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
His areas of interest include but are not limited to sports medicine, heel pain, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Frank also serves as the chief of the podiatry subsection at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center (formerly Montgomery General Hospital). He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. He has privileges at Washington Adventist Hospital, MedStar Montgomery Medical Center (formerly Montgomery General Hospital), Southern Maryland Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital. Dr. Frank is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Frank resides in Potomac with his wife Rita and his kids Brianna and Brandon.
