He also completed another residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He has a special interest in the management of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, permanent and nonpermanent contraception, and minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Lempel's goals are to utilize the latest advances in medicine and surgery to treat his patients with as little medication as possible and to use minimally invasive surgical approaches to cure disease and restore health. He believes that proper nutrition and minimizing stress are key components in preventing disease and reversing many symptoms. In his spare time, he enjoys home renovation, playing the drums, being outdoors and listening to live music.

Dr. Lempel was running a bit late for my appointment, but apologized profusely and explained that he had seen two first time parents prior to me, and was answering their extensive questions. Additioanlly, the student assisting him checked on me many times while I was waiting, and I did not feel forgotten. I appreciated his explaination and thought it was a good sign that he was willing to talk to those families for more than the alloted time. He was informative and receptive to my questions.

Let's be honest. Most of the ob-gyn doctors are weird. They make you feel self-conscious. Well, not Dr. Michael Lempel. He was very professional; he made me feel comfortable, he talked to me about my options, and he didn't make me feel like I was making up my symptoms. He was personal, and his team was very thoughtful and kind. I used to feel ashamed or judged in my previous ob-gyn appointments. Not at Dr's Lempel. I think that I have found my doctor!

Dr. Lempel was great! Ran through my chart with me, answered all my questions, and most importantly his office staff was also great. I’ve had doctors I’ve liked in the DMV, but the staff was too awful to deal with to go back.

Dr.Lempel is a great doctor! He is an expert with was he is doing and I felt very comfortable talking to him about medical issues and he was very clear about everything and lets you ask questions and listens to you which is very important. I had a great experience and I highly reccomend Dr.Lempel!!! Also the staff in this office were great!!
