My appointment with Dr. Thompson went well. I walked away with a lot better knowledge base than when I came in, and I now have a clearer understanding of my symptoms. (Or lack thereof)
I'd recommend Dr. Thompson to anybody with dermatology concerns. She did a good job explaining things in a simplistic, easy-to-understand-fashion, but her biggest strength was the way in which she asked astute questions to gain understanding of my situation.

Dr. Michele M. Thompson specializes in general dermatology and dermatopathology, and
is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in both specialties. She holds
medical licenses in California, Washington and Oregon. She has a strong background in
science and medical research, has lectured widely, and has been extensively published in
peer review medical journals.
Dr. Thompson practiced medical and cosmetic dermatology with the Dermatology Medical
Group in San Francisco, where she was featured in California Magazine [LINK]. She
was also appointed faculty at the University of California San Francisco where she taught
dermatology and dermatopathology to medical students, residents and fellows.
Dr. Thompson is passionate about clinical dermatology. “Caring for patients is a privilege.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on an
individual’s health and life.”
Since returning to the Northwest in 2012, she practiced dermatology and dermatopathology
in Vancouver, before starting her own practice. She enjoys serving the residents of
Southwest Washington, and is thrilled to live in the area, where she enjoys traveling, skiing
and the great outdoors with her husband and five- year-old son.

Dr. Thompson was wonderful and obviously smart and knowledgeable. My daughter and I left feeling like we finally had the right answer to her skin issue and a clear plan from Dr. Thompson. I wish we had found her years ago!

The visit was good. It was strange for my daughter to have a man in the room when she was undressed. The prescription was called in to the wrong pharmacy.
It's too early to tell if the medication will work. We still have to pick it up and try.

The doctor seemed very busy and not really wanting to hear about any other skin issues other than what my appt was for. My experience was ok, not super friendly in her bedside manner. Will see how the next appt goes.

Dr Thompson was wonderful! My first visit with her and she was very educating and caring. She kindly addressed my concerns and I left in with two less moles than I walked in with! The administrative gal who welcomed me was very professional and sweet. I enjoyed each member of Team Thompson. I'll send my whole family back now.
