About Leah Bachhuber
Leah attended Portland's K-12 Japanese Immersion Program before earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon. She gained a global perspective working in Nepal and later Peru before returning to Oregon to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at OHSU Hospital. She continued her education at OHSU Hospital, where she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Leah is passionate about empowering patients to make informed healthcare decisions. She lives in Tualatin with her husband, two children, and golden retriever.

The staff was very friendly, professional as well as down to earth, as well as the office is very welcoming and inviting. I love the fact that my new PCP, Leah Bachhuber, is willing to listen you what with my health but then she suggested a back up plan. When talking to her I did not feel like I was being judged or looked down upon as if I stupid. The services they provide at this office is mind blowing and after my wife and my initial visit we made a choice to make move all of our kids to this office.

Its been a while since I was at the doctor's, mainly due to past experiences with others. This was not that experience. All the staff was friendly, kind and communicative as well. To me the main hurdle than any medical office must overcome is the sense of objectification - the feeling that I am an object of testing or treatment rather than a whole human being - that can arise in the context of the materialist modern western medical viewpoint, and I think this office, and NP Bachhuber in particular, did a great job in that regard.
