About Dr. Claudia Taylor

If you are unable to complete the steps below, please call us as soon as possible so that we may both reschedule you and provide access to another needy patient. Please let us know with at least 24 hours' notice.
Please follow the steps below as soon as you get this email:
1) In the Apple “App Store” or “Google Play” app on your Android phone,
2) Search for and download “PocketPatient.” This will take a minute or two.
3) Open PocketPatient on your phone.
4) Click “Allow” when prompted.
5) When prompted, type in these three pieces of information in this order, one per each field, top to bottom:
a. dermprofessionals.ema.md
b. user name
c. password
If you have not received your user name and password, please call us.
6) Terms of Service will come up on your phone. Click Agree in the lower left-hand corner.
7) The screen should come up with a “Join Video Visit” button. We will use this later when your visit starts.
8) At the bottom of the screen, on the right-hand side, is a word in tiny writing. Click on More, then Options, then "Camera Settings." Set front AND back camera resolution to "High."
9) Reopen the app a few minutes before your appointment.
I completed my medical training at the University of California, San Francisco (Doctor of Medicine), followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and a residency in Dermatology at Oregon Health & Science University. Additionally, I hold a Juris Doctor degree from the Berkeley campus of the University of California.
