Was not aware that I had to call before I walked in, nothing was communicated about that until I got to the office. I liked Dr Chevalier, she was thorough, professional, kind, and had great bedside manner; wasn’t fond of her assistant manner but I was there for her.

She attended Rush University, where she received her medical degree, and completed her internship in dermatology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She further continued her studies and completed a residency in dermatology at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and a fellowship in dermatopathology at Tufts University.
Dr. Chevalier is a part of Apex Dermatology and is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in dermatology and dermatopathology. It was odd since I was a returning patient yet they took longer to sort out and 'find' my previous visit 18 months earlier than the actual appointment. Also, i purposely returned to Apex because my previous visit included an extensive documentation of all the moles via photos yet those photos were not attached to my record and I suspect from the coveted conversation between the assist and the doctor that the photos are gone. No photos were taken this visit at all. I was told i have no concerns and could have 'Cosmetic' appointment to remove some non moles otherwise I was 'fine' and had great skin. Overall not what I expected for a annual check and follow up from the previous year's visit.
