My visit with Dr. Coffman was less than 5 minutes long. He only asked me one question before providing a conclusive diagnosis and dismissing my personal experience with the condition as "happenstance", which felt very invalidating. Strong statements such as "it can't be cured" without any deeper investigation into lifestyle factors, nutrition or prior efforts can be deeply internalized by patients and have a lasting emotional impact. If you want to feel cared for, Dr. Coffman is not the one.

I really appreciated that this doctor was very organized and methodical in his approach to explaining my options. He was very scientific in his approach to discussing how the different treatment options would work (talked about the medical research that is up to date). He regarded my concerns as important and gave me a sense of hope that I had options to address my concerns.

I really enjoyed this office. My appointment was around 3pm in the middle of the week and they saw me right on time. The staff was very kind and helpful. The doctor was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions.

The doctor Mathhew Coffman is super unfriendly, and does take the time to explain your skin problem. He only arrived to the room see you and give you the medicine. I will not come back looks like is a doctor that does not cate about their patients.

Fast-talker. Didn't ask any questions. Took one look at my face and rattled off a whole list of things to do for my acne. It really just seemed like he wanted to try to set the record for how fast he could finish an appointment. Would not recommend.

Doctor acted like he couldn’t remove a cyst from my forehead. I’m fairly certain it’s just puss from an old pimple but he told me it was a lipoma and sent me on my way. Told me to see a plastic surgeon but that’s going to be out of my means.

I called my husband when I got to the car and told him this was, hands down, the best experience I've ever had with a medical appointment. Every single person I interacted with was very friendly and professional, everything was done in an efficient manner, and I feel like the doctor and his nurse really heard me and addressed my concerns. The nurse even found an online coupon to help offset the cost of one of my prescriptions...totally above and beyond!
