I've been having progressively worse stomach issues for months now, and was referred to a gastroenterologist by an allergist. My appointment was at 2:00, the doctor ARRIVED at 2:45, saw me at 3:00. He argued with the nurses, who were clearly just scrambling because he was an hour late. He asked me a dozen questions, but then proceeded to cut me off when I was seconds into my answers. I told him I had seen an allergist. He asked what her name was, if she is an MD, where she works. He asked me ridiculous questions like "When was the last time you had a vacation?" "Are you married?" He told me he doesn't "believe in medicine," and instead wrote the name of a powder I could buy at the store on a piece of paper towel. He then ordered several tests, one of which was a blood test, in-office. It's been almost two weeks, I just called to inquire about the results, and they have no record of having taken my blood. Hands down the worst doctor visit I have ever had. How he is allowed to practice medicine, I have no idea.
