I like Dr. Epstein. The wait time is fine given that he is thorough and effective in his care for the patients. If there was a short wait time with his profession I believe that we wouldn't get the care we all deserve. Great doctor!

After thoroughly enjoying the breadth of his internal medicine training, Dr. Epstein knew he wanted to specialize further, and completed a second residency in ophthalmology.
These days, Dr. Epstein serves his patients from his bustling practice in Brooklyn, and he also treats visitors as a member on staff at both Beth Israel Medical Center and Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. I went to this doctor in January 2014 the wait was 5 hours. I called to see him last week March 13, as soon as possible call in prescription, i had the same problem eye infection from last year. I was told by the staff there, no cant call in a prescription you have not been here in a year. I asked can i come in today or tomorrow she said no March 28th is the next open appointment. I said i have a problem a infection, i cant wait 3 more weeks. I said I will change doctors she said Fine bye. Unbelievable.

You have to plan some hours for your appointment, because the waiting time is long. From the time of my appointment until I was finished was 3 hours. However, once Dr. Epstein sees you, he takes his time to do a thorough exam, and answer any questions. He's a very warm person, and a knowledgeable professional. I will definitely see him again for any eye-care needs...I will just bring along a good book for the wait next time.

It was a last minute appointment so I didn't mind the wait. Donna at the desk was sooo pleasant she made the time fly by. The waiting room was comfortable and clean. I am a nurse and can attest that I had a very thorough exam and Dr Epstein explained all procedures. I am diabetic and he carefully checked for any damage. He took the time to answer all of my sometimes silly questions. I will be returning in 6 months. I highly recommend Dr Epstein and his team.

I went to see Dr. Epstein last week as a new patient because I had an eye infection. I waited an hour to see him, but since it was an emergency.. okay. He was very pleasant and put me on antibiotics. He asked me to come back for a 1 week follow up. I sat in his waiting room for 3 1/4 hours today and still did NOT see him. I walked out unseen. I don't think any doctor is worth that amount of waiting time. My time has value also. The secretary seemed apologetic but she did say that was pretty standard for their office.

Very long wait, which I heard from the staff is pretty standard and to be expected - if you can't afford to give up an entire afternoon to see the eye doctor, this is not the practice for you! After we finally got to see the doctor, after a very long wait, he took a lengthy personal phone call and the elderly, confused patient couldn't figure out what was going on, and kept trying to talk to the doctor. I have no problems with the doctor's knowledge and skill, but the overall experience was certainly lacking.

I am very happy with my Zoomed experience. Even more happy with my new eye doctor. Very helpful office staff. Confirmed my appointment day before. Office was very clean and comfortable. Dr Epstein was kind. He explained everything before he did it. He spent time with me. He even apologized about being a few minutes late ! He was worth the wait.

Great visit. He immediately put you at ease. He was comfortable to talk to and he is very experienced in his field. Wait time was longer than expected but that's because he is so thorough in his examination of each patient. His staff was also one of the friendliest Ive ever met.

Went to see Dr. Epstein for a white dot on my eye that turned out to be a corneal ulcer. He was very professional, took the necessary time to thoroughly examine my eyes, explained everything well. I would recommend him. His receptionist and assistant were also very friendly.
