I am a psychiatrist, in private practice for the past twenty years in the Union Square area, board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Flexibility is the key to my approach to individual treatment. I work with patients to tailor a plan of cognitive, supportive and/or insight-oriented psychotherapy, along side the option for a wide variety of psychopharmacological treatments. I treat patients with mood, anxiety, obsessional, ADD and psychotic disorders My extensive experience with addictions of all kinds provides a broad backdrop for exploring other psychological addictions, such as self-sabotage, co-dependent relationships and career indecision.
