*After booking, you will receive a link via Canvas to set up your patient portal. Setting up your patient portal is required to complete your appointment.* Many patients come to me because they’re struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, or navigating complex emotions around gender identity. I work with adults who want to understand where these patterns come from and how to shift them. Together, we explore the emotional and physical roots of your experience and develop accessible, dependable ways to self-soothe and navigate your internal world. My approach is collaborative and grounded in compassion. I bring a blend of curiosity, steadiness, and care to every session, meeting you where you are and offering space to go at your own pace. As a queer and trans clinician, creating a space where people can be fully themselves, without explanation or apology, is central to how I work. My background in private practice supporting LGBTQ individuals has shaped the way I show up in the therapy room: with warmth, respect, and an openness to all parts of your story. Outside of sessions, you’ll find me taking long walks, gaming with friends, or playing bass guitar, ways I decompress and reconnect to myself. I bring that same spirit of care and creativity to my work with patients.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am incredibly passionate about LGBTQ+ focused mental healthcare. LGBTQ+ individuals have historically been marginalized both inside and outside of mental health spaces. This is particularly troubling when it comes to the higher risk of adverse outcomes that LGBTQ+ folks experience more than their cisgender or heterosexual peers due to stigmatization, bigotry, and systemic oppression. Due to this, I think it is deeply important to have clinicians who are LGBTQ+ themselves within mental healthcare to provide safe, accepting, and informed care to LGBTQ+ folks as they traverse difficulties in both their internal and external worlds.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to care is collaborative, warm, open, and honest. I believe in meeting my patients where they are in their journey and extending a kind hand as we walk together on their path towards healing and growth. Every person has the strength and resources inside of them to meet their needs and make positive changes for themselves - my approach is centered around helping patients access them in ways that are safe and affirming.
