I stopped seeing Dr Younes for two years after I had PRK. I saw another doctor to be fitted with reading glasses and they were not fitted correctly. I went back to Dr Younes (a little further away) because I knew she would get the right fit for me.... and she did!

Dr. Younes was very knowledgable. She gave me a good plan on how to change my prescription to make my glasses more useful to me. All the staff, was very helpful and knowledgable especially Alana in selecting frames.

Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Younes has a thorough expertise in the field of optometry. In addition to her clinical positions, she has served as a professor at the University of Houston’s College of Optometry for more than 15 years.

Dr. Younes was very courteous and professional. My exam was very extensive and thorough. The ability to check-in early and complete forms online saved me a lot of time. I appreciated her extensive insight and courteous staff. The fact that I could receive these services on a Saturday was great because I work M-F.

The staff were a bit slow in figuring out my vision plan, initially they were telling me I had to pay out of pocket. Thankfully I had called my insurance before I made my appointment. After about 15 min everything was straightened out. I waited about 30 min before I was seen because I was early and the stuff with my insurance. Dr. Younes is absolutely wonderful. I'm a new patient so she took the time to ask me about what I wanted in the visit. She has a larger variety of frames, from name brands like coach to your basic affordable ones. I'm definitely sticking with this eye doctor.

She is great but there is a huge problem. I always schedule my appointment for the first slot of the day and not even once have the staff or doctor even arrived at the facility by that time. If my appointment is scheduled for 10:00AM, the staff and doctor should be there at least 15 minutes beforehand. I schedule early because I'm in a rush but they show up 5-10 minutes after my scheduled time just to begin opening. Not very proffessional.

When I arrived, they had no record of my appointment. I had to show them a copy of my confirmation e-mail and the reminder I was sent. I had to be "squeezed in" so I was seen last. almost 2 hours after my appointment time. I love this doctor but will not be returning to this office.

Dr. Younes is a great doctor and I would highly recommend her, however, the wait time was too long. I arrived to the office at 4:40 for a 5:00 PM appointment and did not leave until 7:00.
