About Dr. Sarah Hung
Dr. Sarah Hung is a native Houstonian. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemical and Biophysical Sciences with high honors at the University of Houston. She then graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. During her education, she was awarded a Clinical Letter of Excellence and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society.
During her clinical training, Dr. Hung focused on treating and managing patients with ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, and corneal disease. Her special interests include primary eye care, ocular disease, and pre and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgeries.
Dr. Hung is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist. She is passionate about providing quality care for her patients and giving back to the community. She previously went on an optometric mission trip to an underserved area in Honduras and provided vision and eye care to those that needed help.
Dr. Hung is a member of the Harris County Optometric Society, Texas Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association. In her free time, Dr. Hung loves to spend time with her family and friends, travel to new places, and watch K-dramas.

I really enjoyed my visit at Eye Vantage. Dr. Hung was very personable and patient with all of my questions. Her staff was lovely as well. Their selection of glasses and sunglasses is impressive and there are many options to choose from. I also love how she's right outside of the Elyson neighborhood - how convenient! I will definitely be bringing my family back for their eye exams.
