In 2004, after 19 years of practicing internal medicine, I restructured my practice in a way that allows me to provide the highest level of service to my patients. I transitioned from an academic setup, where I was teaching the young up-coming doctors and in year 2001, I decided to start private practice to show my dedication and personalized care to the community. My staff and I are happy to work with you to bring you the best care. My staff is willing to work with your insurance carrier by all possible efforts.
My practice features: ready availability, and on-time, unhurried office visits, in a comfortable private office setting.Walk in patients are also welcomed. We are dedicated to assist you to navigate your way through the health care system by finding referrals to the best specialists and imaging centers in this area. As your doctor, I am dedicated to provide you with comprehensive, personalized care, with an emphasis on wellness and disease prevention. This is the care that I believe you deserve. I look forward to caring for you as one of my private practice patients.
Family Practice and Internal medicine medical group. We focus on adult medicine (patients 18 and older), prevention and treatment of adult illnesses and diseases. We accept walk-ins Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri from 10:00a.m. until noon and from 1:00p.m. until 3:00 p.m. We have staff for Spanish and Urdu speaking patients. Even though I did have about 10 minutes wait time from the start of my appointment time, I was told upfront that I would have some wait time due to the fact that they squeezed me in the day of. I was very thankful they were able to take me in on such short notice for severe pain and given the circumstances, she was very understanding and listened to me thoroughly. The building looks a bit shabby, but once you are inside her office, it is completely fine!

When I finally was called to the back to see the doctor, I had to stand by the door while her last patient was coming out. The paper bedding was never changed and the doctor never washed her hands before examining me. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Tahira was lovely! I really enjoyed my visit and she was much more helpful than a highly renowned specialist I'd been seeing at VA Hospital Center. Her staff is wonderful too - Franny is awesome! Will definitely be going back and plan to use Dr. Tahira as my primary care doctor from now on.

Old building and office, wait time was a bit long and no services besides seeing the dr is performed in the office. I had to go to another office to have my ROUTINE blood done and pay an additional copay. Ive never had to do that and found it very annoying.

I am new to the area and needed a PCP...I'm so glad I came across Dr. Tahira. Very good doctor and very personable. Her professionalism is top of the line and genuine. You can tell she truly cares about her patients. Her staff is very supportive and carry a high degree of professionalism as well. Highly recommend.

We are glad for the visit we paid to her office. She belongs to a group of Doctors who are experienced and well informed, & I already knew of it prior to our visit. However afterwards I was impressed to see how hard & serious she worked in finding a clue about the complicated dizziness in her patient, who was my close relative. The patient was to travel to overseas in few weeks and Dr. Tahira did her best to find a clue in the earliest time possible. Aside from being a good doctor, she is also a wonderful human being. We are grateful to her & look forward to have her as our family doctor.

Wonderful! The office staff were friendly and I was seen right away. Dr. Tahira is easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Tahira was okay, but was not impressed. The exam room was not clean, the exam chair had paper from the previous patient.
The staff is rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all. I was at the office twice and both times they were really slow and didn't seem like they have a lot of patients. If they want to keep this practice going, I suggest hiring more helpful, intellectual and patient focused staff.

She was nice and listened to me and explained everything very well but the wait time was very long which was annoying. The doctor herself was very friendly and took her time with me and listened to me tell her my concerns about my health! I would highly recommended her.
