She holds a Master’s in Nursing from Auburn University. I enjoy helping people and watching the progress from poor health to wellness. It is rewarding to me to provide education and prevention of illness. Primary care encompasses the mind and body. Our role as providers is to not only manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia but also to focus on mental health. Mental health is a vastly underserved part of the patient’s overall wellbeing. Prevention of illness is also an important aspect of primary care. I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and spending time taking walks with my family in the state forest. I have three King Charles Cavalier Spaniels and enjoy working with the cavalier rescue when the opportunity arises.
