Didn’t like her not everyone is for everyone very understandable. I felt like I wasn’t welcomed with open arms as a patient. She then said something like omg we are over our visit . I was explaining my issues she clearly had concerns but it’s like idk she didn’t care enough or I just wasn’t to unwell for her crazy! Well I don’t know I was being charged by the minute . It’s okay next doctor !!!!

This was my first visit with Dr Pelaez. She listened to all of my concerns and checked everything out. I had a great visit apart from the end, when she seemed to rush out of the room without acknowledging that our appointment was ended - it felt like she had already moved on to the next thing even though our appointment was still wrapping up. Overall, good experience otherwise

My video visit with Dr.Pelaez was unpleasant and unprofessional. The doctor was rolling their eyes and sighing every time they said something that didn't work out for me. I've been a Mount Sinai patient for years and this provider didn't assist me with other options unless it was what she said. After asking for certain days due to my work schedule she told me oh well that's why video visits aren't good. Then debated on how urgent care is a easy process to check in. After I informed her I work in Healthcare and that's not true she kept saying then go to urgent care or the emergency room as if their isn't lines around the block.

I made a video visit appointment, which I have done with other doctors that have worked out well. I completed my paperwork the night before, but for some reason when I went to log on, it did not save, hence I had to redo and with technical challenges, I was 8 minutes late. Dr. Pelaez came 5 minutes after. She was annoyed and short and immediately told me she had another appointment. I asked if we should have rescheduled and she said no, but was not interested in listening to my concern. When I continued to talk, I stopped and asked again because she seemed disinterested, I think she took some notes and began asking some questions. All to say we need an in-person visit. I requested a refund as this was not anywhere near a patient care appointment and I would never visit her in person.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Pelaez for my annual check-up. She took her time getting to know me before she started any of the tests. I've been looking for a doctor to make my primary care and I think I will stick with Dr. Pelaez for now.

The doctor was rude and curt with me on the phone and told me she had never even heard of me, even though I am a returning patient. Staff is not properly educated on blood work requests, etc. I would not recommend this facility to anyone; it is a waste of time!

Overall the doctor as well as her team especially Sonia were really helpful and provided answers to all my questions.
I recommend them to anyone. Such a friendly staff.

Dr Pelaez was very patient and friendly. Her exam was thorough. She listened carefully to my concerns, asked relevant questions, and had great recommendations. She also, rightly, admonished me for not following through on certain procedures. But, she had great solutions and immediate referrals.

No for me Ms Naida, is not ready. She left me in the room for 20 minutes while she dealt with another patient. She came in the room, briefly asked me about an EKG, I told her I can bring a copy of one I just recently took, she ask me about my medication, as I started to tell her she cut me off and said I’ll be right back, some one will take your blood, that was done, 20 minutes passed no doctor, I came out the room and asked her assist “ where’s the doctor” she stated she’s in the room with another patient. So I got my things and left. My time is just as important as the next persons, and you want my insurance to pay you to have me sit a wait for you to see more preferables. That’s ok, I’ll find another doctor, no problem.

on a separate note, it was pointless to fill out any information through zocdoc. I had to fill out a million forms with the same information over and over. truly sad to see the lack of technology infrastructure.
