Dr. Rahnama is the most supportive, encouraging physician a patient could ever wish for..but the most important part, the outcome, has been outstanding: I've now lost almost 65 lbs. with her help and guidance (and meaningful, determined weight loss has eluded me my whole life...so I'm not an 'easy' case). 10/10 would recommend her to anyone serious about losing weight.

Nancy P. Rahnama, MD, MS has completed all of her training in the Los Angeles area. She obtained her Bachelors and Masters in Physiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and then pursued her medical education at the Keck School of Medicine, at the University of Southern California. She was later trained in Internal Medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where she developed an interest in Preventive Medicine through lifestyle changes.
After becoming a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, she completed her training at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she pursued a Fellowship in Clinical Nutrition and Weight Management. She now practices as a Bariatric Physician to children, adolescent, adults and postpartum mothers, guiding them through a customized treatment plan and creating lifelong results.
Dr. Rahnama is currently a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, where she is continuing to learn about the newest studies and applications for wellness and nutritional health

The last appointment I had she just saw me in her office for a few minutes. Really unhappy that it is always a struggle getting my thyroid prescriptions filled with Dr. Rahnama's office. I am also very disappointed that I called Dr. Rahnama's office recently to let them know that I think I had a heart attack and needed a cardiologist referral and Dr. Rahnama never called me or provided the referral. I had to find a new doctor that can help me.

I wish I could give Dr.Nancy five stars. She was exteremely attentive, transparent and kind. She went into my diet plan in great detail, taught me about proper nutrition and the biological reasoning behind my drastic weight gain. You can tell that she is genuinely concerned about her patients well being. I am excited for my next appointment with her!

Dr. Nancy is very professional. I've been going to her for 3 years now, I feel comfortable with her and I can't say that about most doctors. She doesn't act judgy or pretentious like other female doctors.
The wait time is minimal and the staff is friendly. Really good location on Rodeo Dr! Parking is super easy but they also valet with a discount for seeing her.
