We had a conversation about my problems and Dr Horne asked what my expectations were. He suggested appropriate options and we agreed on preliminary treatment. After he left and I was waiting for a test, he came back to demonstrate how to use an new type of inhaler. Really great doctor.

He was very dismissive and condescending. The appointment was a waste of time. He wanted to get me out of his office as quickly as possible without any real solutions. Apparently, it’s horrible to want him to do a blood test for allergies. Will never go back to see him.

Dr. Horne was great! Straight to the point and gave me all the options to treat my allergies without being pushy. Nurse who checked me in was also super nice and welcoming. Front desk gals could be a bit friendlier though.

He asked good questions however at one point as I was still talking he was waking out. I even said “and you’re walking out.” He may have thought it was a joke but lil rude. But he did what needed to be done and sat and was patient.,

He’s rude and condescending. Consultation almost felt like and interrogation and I came out of the visit feeling like I’ve wasted my time. He refused to do any blood work on me until I absolutely insisted and even then he seems exasperated and irritated. Not my fault you don’t like your job buddy, get a better bedside manner.

Dr. Horne was amazing! I've seen multiple allergists in the past and for 25 years they never really helped my daily allergies. Dr. Horne listened, cared, and discussed multiple options with me. While this was just my first visit, I feel like I may be able to finally get my allergies under control.

It was nice to finally see an allergist who didn't think I was crazy for thinking I had an allergy to mosquito bites. Dr. Horne was quick and efficient. We had everything settled and an action plan in just one visit. He was helpful and knowledgeable and the NYU portal is great to have too.

Checking was prompt and Tiffany was very polite and efficient. Dr. Horne and his medical staff are fantastic! I cannot be happier to finally find an allergist I feel comfortable with and I can trust.
Dr. Horne is extremely professional. He will treat the issue with the best treatment option and by doing the right thing for his patient.

It took a while for someone at the front desk to even address me but after that, they saw me right away.
I have extremely high co-pays to visit specialist and this was a complete waste. From the moment Dr. Horne walked in, he looked like he would have rather been anywhere else in the planet than to be talking to me! I felt so awkward seeing this doctor forcing himself to have what ended up being just a consultation with me. I get doctors work long hours, and maybe he had a rough day; but I never had anyone made me feel like such a nuisance when I paid for their service. I could tell he didn't want to give me the allergy test, he kept saying it was necessary and at the end I decided not to. The appointment was about 10-15 minutes and all I got was: You should see a dermatologist.

Everything about my visit was great. The wait time was almost non-existent which I really appreciate (at most other doctors I see the wait times are terrible). Dr. Horne is super professional and thorough and it took only 24 hours for my blood work to be done. The office uses a web portal called "My Chart" where you can see your test results and send/receive messages to your doctor; it is SO easy and helpful. This should be the standard for every medical office.

Talk about efficient. Dr. Horne takes his time to get to know you, but also gets things done. I waited in the waiting room for 5 minutes, met with the nurse and then waited for about 3 minutes before he saw me. We discussed my situation, he is open to discussing other things and is not just a robot... He takes the time you need but does it in a very efficient manner.

Everything went very smoothly. Dr. Horne is terrific and his staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful.
Oh FYI - Dr. Horne's office is actually on the 3rd floor, not the 6th/7th as it says here. (And it's not listed anywhere as you come in the building.)

After agonizing over picking 'the right' allergist in New York, I finally picked Dr. Horne, and I'm so glad I did. If you're wondering if he's really as good as the reviews say he is - stop now. He's better.
Why? He's a great listener - the kind of doctor that notices the small stuff you mention and takes it into account. He asks great questions and seems up-to-date on all the latest research in his field. And you never feel rushed. Which, let me tell you, is a huge help for someone like me who likes to take a second to process.
