Dr. Mozaffarieh (aka ’Dr. M’ or ‘Dr. Naz’) was raised in Vienna, Austria, and graduated from Vienna International School in 1993. She then moved to California to study Molecular and Cell Biology at U.C. Berkeley. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she pursued her Optometry degree at U.C. Berkeley, graduating in 2003. After working in different practice settings for several years, she opened her private practice “Eyes & Smiles Optometry” in 2007 in Pinole. In 2011, she purchased the practice of Dr. Gloria Waite in Pinole and merged both practices into Dr. Waite’s location.
She currently provides free eye exams for Children’s Vision First, a non-profit organization. She is married and a mother of fraternal twin babies (boy and girl). She also loves animals and has 4 dogs and 2 cats. In her free time she enjoys skiing and wine tasting.
