I am a Columbia-trained, board-certified psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner with experience helping people with a variety of needs and backgrounds.
I welcome people for treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, insomnia, panic attacks, bipolar disorder. Accompanying these things are often challenges with work, interpersonal and romantic relationships, or self-esteem that often also end up being a focus of treatment. I have worked in harm-reduction, substance use treatment settings for a number of years. I am also an LGBTQIA+ affirming provider.
My approach is warm, accepting, and focused on the whole person. While I primarily offer psychiatric evaluation and medication management services at this time, I believe in working along side with my patients to set and prioritize the goals appropriate for them, and incorporating lifestyle changes as necessary. If you are seeking psychiatric medication management services, we will find what is right for you while considering your preferences, current evidence based practices and research, genetic testing, and a HAES (health at every size) approach.
Currently I am out of network with all insurances, and am able to provide invoices for reimbursement.
NOTE: All new patients must speak with me by phone before the initial appointment is confirmed, so that we can discuss related logistics, as well as your reasons for seeking care. If I cannot contact you within 24 hours of your appointment, it will be cancelled.
