The thing that attracted me to this doctor was that the vast majority of reviews said that SHE LISTENED. Add me to that list. I had quite a few things going on and she addressed every one of them. I wanted to take a conservative approach and she was right there with me. Very through and I felt like I was in good hands.

More about Dr. Neha Pawar, MD
Dr. Pawar earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Tufts University in Massachusetts followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands- Antilles. She returned to the United States to complete her Internship and Residency training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Prior to her third year of training Dr. Pawar was selected as Chief Resident and successfully completed her training.
She began her career in Hospital Medicine initially at Winthrop University Hospital, then Huntington Hospital, followed by Syosset Hospital under the Northwell System for the past 8 years. During her time in Hospital Medicine, Dr Pawar published an article in the Heart and Lung Journal of Acute and Critical Care, as well as participated on the Sepsis Task Force Initiation team. She also underwent complete training for the Ebola first responder team.
After 9 years in Hospital Medicine, Dr. Pawar is expanding her career to include Primary Care. She initially began as the sole full time Physician provider at Northport Family Practice in Northport, NY and is excited to now begin her own Primary Care office at Long Island Premier Medical Care.
Dr. Pawar is a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Medicine. Her hospital affiliations include: StonyBrook Hospital and Huntington Hospital. She will have admitting privileges and will provide care for her patients if admitted to Huntington Hospital.

Dr. Pawar’s annual physicals are the most thorough I have ever experienced. Most doctor’s just take blood and out you go. Today, I was also given an eye exam and had an EKG reading performed. No stone is un-turned whenever you visit Dr. Pawar’s office. They are super thorough, professional and always care about you!

This place has the absolute worse receptionists ever. They are extremely rude and if you are sick forget about it. They treat you like you have a contagious disease. I was also yelled at for no reason and they make you pay before being seen by the doctor.
