Dr. Niara Wright Is an attentive and intelligent Board Certified Podiatrist. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She then earned a DPM from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, in New York City. She completed her surgical residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center, in Yonkers, New York, where she trained in diabetic limb salvage, wound care, pediatric foot care, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Wright is the founder and CEO of Wright Podiatry PLLC. She is a leading Podiatrist in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan, and is involved in the betterment of the community by organizing medical mission trips, managing mentorship programs, and initiating fundraising events.. She is an active member of the American College of Podiatric Medicine and was recently inducted in WHOs WHO in America.
Dr. Wright takes pride in having a genuine interest in each and every one of her patients. Her evidence-based treatment plans ensure that her patients are centered, and respected. Dr. Wright is a practitioner who shows empathy and understanding and is passionate about improving the quality of life for her patients. . Simply stated her interest is to consistently provide exceptional care. Dr. Wright is particularly adept at diagnosing and treating sports medicine related pathologies. She is committed to educating her patients on the biomechanics of lower extremities and providing them with the latest medical advances. Dr. Wright believes many sports related injuries can be avoided by aligning the bony structure of the foot and ankle with a custom orthotic supported by patients' awareness of proper muscular-skeletal alignment.
Dr. Wright is well versed in an array of treatments for the foot and ankle. Patients visit her for a myriad reasons, including but not limited to ankle injuries and problems, preventive diabetic foot care, diabetic foot ulcers, heel pain, and arthritis. She is especially skilled in bunion and hammertoe correction with an emphasis on cosmesis.
Dr. Wright Is Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), And Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. She takes pride in and is committed to providing high-quality care to patients with diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
Dr. Wright grew up in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. When she isn’t practicing podiatry, she enjoys running, cycling, scuba diving, and traveling. She enjoys feeding her curious mind with historical documentarist talks and various podcasts

I have never seen such a nice, well-behaving, sweet, caring, patient, well-knowledged, honest, and I am out of adjectives. I traveled 2 hours from Jamaica to the Bronx to see her. Within a mint of arriving there, she took care of my mom. Made her feel so relieved and explain bits by bits about her diagnosis. While most of the doctors don't wanna see patients with Medicaid because they don't make fortune out of patients but this lady is down to earth. If I could give her an infinite number of stars I would give. 5 stars are not enough.
