Dr. Mitchell Shear is an internist and primary care doctor treating patients in the Bronx, New York, and the surrounding communities. He has more than 25 years of experience and combines the latest medical advances with a “down-to-earth” personality to connect with his patients. Dr. Shear takes the trust his patients place in him very seriously. He also holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In order to pursue his medical degree, Dr. Shear attended the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He continued his medical education at the Westchester Medical Center. Here, he received his residency training in internal medicine. Dr. Shear is now affiliated with facilities including the Montefiore Medical Center-Moses Division Hospital, Saint Barnabas Hospital, and the Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
