A native of the Lehigh Valley, Dr. Slenker graduated from Parkland High School as the captain of the swim team. He went on to graduate at the top of his medical school class, and was eventually recognized as the most outstanding senior orthopaedic resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was then accepted at one of the world’s elite sports medicine fellowship training programs at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthoapedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
A published author in multiple journals and publications, Dr. Slenker has written about his shoulder and knee surgery research, with particular interest in throwing injuries, shoulder instability and rotator cuff repair. His interests include travel, swimming, running, and basketball.

Wasnt satisfied with my visit. Hospital charged me separately for the doctor and visiting the facility even though it was an in network for me. They didnt inform me prior about the additional charges but got some random terms signed. Later on I received a huge bill which I definitely wasnt expecting

Dr. Slenker was friendly and a good communicator. He explained theory to me while illustrating his points with the use of x-rays he had taken. His administrative and medical assistants were all friendly and efficient also! It was a pleasant visit.
