Even before the first appointment ans while he was traveling, Dr Cutlriss took my call and contacted my primary doctor to make sure my son received proper and timely care. He took time talking to us during our appointment and offered to talk to my son's school regarding my son's condition. His follow up is amazing and he offered to comanage my son's case with my primary care doctor since he was out of network doctor for my insurance company. ! As a mother of a sick child, I was so relieved and grateful to have such a responsive and caring doctor.

Dr. Cuttriss is excellent! He is very thorough, nice demeanor, explains everything, easy to talk to, and available to his families (literally anytime!). I have never had a doctor call me back to explain test results the way he did for our son.
We fell so comfortable with Dr. Cuttriss- he is the ideal doctor! We can call him anytime. He will call in a prescription anytime (even on Saturday night after you accidentally break your vile of insulin!) and he will go to battle for your child to ensure your child gets the accommodations he is entitled to at school. So happy he decided to come back to DC!
Great great doctor! He is definitely not your average endocrinologist. He really cares and he gets diabetes unlike other doctors and endocrinologists who we have had to see in the past. He gets it. He even works with kids with diabetes at diabetes camps all around the world and in the Latin America. Incredible! And he is very thorough.
So happy we fand him for our child! He is so through and actually listens to what we say. He also has great advice and approach to healthy living that I wish our pediatrician (who is also great) had time to focus on speaking with us about.
