Originally from India, Dr. Patel received her medical degree from Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai. Dr. Patel moved to New York City more than 30 years ago and completed her residency in Anesthesiology Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York City (formerly known as St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital). During her 30 year career as an attending at Roosevelt hospital, she has instructed hundreds of residents and fellows in Anesthesiology and Pain Management and managed the Quality Assurance for the department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management. She is Board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
She has spent the past seven years in private practice for Pain Management. She is currently affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan as well as Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, New York. She is also the director of the Pain Management at a surgery center called Surgicore of Jersey City in New Jersey.

It was thorough - pleasant and Dr. Patel describes every thing she needs to do, before she does it! The Doctor's injections are as painfree as possible. All questions addressed.
