"As a general dermatologist, my goal is to provide my patients with complete and comprehensive dermatologic care. My particular interests in dermatology include general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and the diagnosis and medical treatment of hair disorders. I strive to treat every one of my patients like one of my family members. I enjoy building trusting relationships with every one of my patients, from newborns to the elderly and every age in between."
Dr. Desai is Midwesterner who fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and went on to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She attended medical school at the University of Toledo, where she graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. After completing her residency at OHSU, she decided to stay in the Portland area and joined NW Dermatology and Research Center, LLC. Dr. Desai is married and enjoys spending time with her three children, family and friends. She also enjoys hiking, biking and traveling worldwide.

Hard to say, I was informed the "rash" in question was mostly likely nothing serious, which is of great comfort. But offered over the counter meds to aide in the healing. So now we wait to see if it all comes together.

She was welcoming and is well credentialed but I felt like I had to offer information to her rather than her asking for it which isn't what I'm used to with doctors. I came in with several skin issues and she only figured one of them out. I had the first appointment of the day and although I was a couple minutes late I still had to wait for the office assistant to unlock the door and then another 15 before Nisha saw me.

Nisha was very personable and professional. I enjoyed my visit with her. The office was conveniently located and had ample parking. Was greeted immediately upon entering the office and there was very little time spent waiting. Definitely recommend.

Delightful experience. Dr. Desai listened to my needs and made some recommendations. Would have liked recommendations for every concern. The wait has always been too long in this office, even with Dr. Roberts.
Upon check out, I was interested in making an appointment for laser (as discussed with Kristin) but I was unsure of the name of the procedure and the receptionist took my cell number to call me as soon as she could ask Kristin. I never received any call and with time am reconsidering the appointment. Just FYI.
