Dr. Putcha earned his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology, and completed his residency training at the University of Miami/ Miller School of Medicine. He is the founder and CEO of National Health Rehabilitation(NHR). NHR is an organization of physiatrists with the primary goal of promoting acute level Physiatry care and maximizing patient function.
Dr. Putcha’s passion is to aid those in need, particularly those post-injury. He specializes in Regenerative and Pain Medicine. Whether it be low back, shoulder, knee, hip pain, sports injuries, post stroke, traumatic brain injury or spine injury, Dr. Putcha individualizes his treatment plan with a focus on functional restoration. His mission is clear: to treat injuries in a step wise, non-invasive, fashion that delivers results, patient empowerment, and improved education. Regardless of the time of onset from the initial injury, Dr. Putcha’s comprehensive approach will address all points of your care. Frequently patients are quick to choose more invasive treatment protocols such as surgeries as a sole treatment plan. Our goal is to treat the patient as conservatively as possible, and make him/her aware of all of their options before undergoing major surgery. Dr. Putcha focuses on utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to optimize the patient’s function by integrating physical therapy and interventional techniques to yield the most favorable patient outcomes.

The office is completely disorganized and has canceled us 10-15 minutes before the appointment time...TWICE! This is after I had taken off days from work and made the trip to take patient. Another visit they didn't have the product needed--another wasted visit. No improvement whatsoever. I would not at all recommend this facility.

Very knowledgeable? and personable. Like that he wanted to get the necessary tests and imaging done before coming to any conclusions or creating a treatment plan. Great experience. Came in for what I thought was a broken bone and the Dr. gave me a thoughtful diagnosis. Staff were excellent as well. Highly recommend.

HE is AMAZING! My overall experience from check in to check out was great. The staff is warm, the office is clean and the doctor is extremely intelligent. He explained my diagnosis in great detail. I called the office on the weekend explaining my new pain and he immediately called me back with great concern and diagnosed me of the phone!
I'm so happy I finally met a caring doctor who understood and treated my pain.

Total pros who make you feel very comfortable and secure about the procedure I was having – excellent experience. Anytime you do something surgical, it takes a little extra time so don’t be in a rush, and definitely go to SPRInstitute as they are truly amazing. Great experience from check-in, to the prep with the nurses, the anesthesiologist and ?Dr. Putcha explained everything in detail very clearly, and the operating room staff were incredible. Plus, I had a great result. I would recommend this place highly and give it 5 Stars.

Rather than immediately suggest surgery to repair my torn shoulder, Dr Putcha suggested that we try alternatives first, stem cell/platelet plasma. I really felt as though he had my best interests in mind when offering the treatment plan.

Dr Putcha is very professional and honest. He diagnosed me right away with a nerve/muscle study and we discussed different treatment plans. I'm happy I came to him and my pain is gone !

I have been suffering from extreme ankle and foot pain for the last 4 years and didn’t want to have traditional tendon repair surgery on my ankles or my feet due to the risk as a 62 year old male. The foot and ankle pain was becoming debilitating and significantly impacting my quality of life. Dr. explained what she was going to look for with an ultrasound and shared her findings. She suggested that I participate in physical therapy and purchase inserts for my low arches. Additionally, Dr. Dharia shared with me a new medical procedure/technology called PRP. Her office researched my insurance coverage and called me with the facts I needed to make a decision to undergo the PRP procedure. The procedure itself was one of the most professional experiences I have ever had.
I have recommended Dr. Putcha and Dr. Dharia to several family members and co-workers. The whole experience has been unbelievable. The results have been fantastic as the pain has gone away and I’m walking normal again.
