The doctor was aces with 40+ years of experience and a warm, friendly manner. She knew instantly what was wrong (correct diagnosis) and immediately called the prescription to the pharmacy (to get medicine in me asap). She asked good questions and gave me instructions for continued care. I never felt rushed. It was almost a throwback to when doctors had time to spend with patients and not make you feel hurried up.
The PA also was very nice and professional.
But Northwell needs to better train receptionists. When I arrived, they were way in back going back and forth. I finally called out. Instead of coming up front, the receptionist shouted from the back. She did the same with the next patient, who was hearing-impaired and kept saying "What?" until the receptionist finally came up front. Note: Not everyone knows they check in at a kiosk first; to older patients, it's still a new thing.
All in all, though, an A- experience. It sure beat my visits to CityMD.

The nurse's voice dipped when i mentioned i thought i had an STI. She seemed a little uncomfortable around the mere mention of sex, which I did not appreciate from perspective of a patient seeing a healthcare provider regarding something sensitive. Then when she was leading me to the restroom to provide a urine sample, the doctor stopped her to mention some test results (that happened to be about me). She was showing me where to go so i stopped and heard what the doctor said when he brusquely turned to me and asked "what are you doing here?" as though i had done something wrong. I told him she's showing me the restroom and then he sent me on my way. On the whole, the personal skills of the medical professionals were lacking, but the medical care was sufficient.

I am so grateful that my neighborhood has Northhealth Urgent Care. The staff are so friendly, informative, and efficient at this location. They took really good care of me and made me feel comfortable and at ease!

Great staff , clean office , fast and smooth check in process … I have what they call moving veins so I usually get stuck 30 times just to get one vial of blood …. BUT THE (MA) who took stuck me one time first in history everrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! AMAZZINGGGGG will be returning !!!

The doctor seemed like he was in a rush. It didn’t seem like he was really listening to me. The visit didn’t help or solve the problem and neither did the prescriptions. When I called to explain that I got worst, I was told to basically deal with it, it will get better, and that the doctor isn’t willing to prescribe anything else.

This was a wonderful visit from the moment I entered I was greeted. The woman at the first desk as you come in was very polite and healthful. The next staff introduced herself and told me she would be taking my vitals. The doctor was friendly and on point with what I needed. EXCELLENT!!!

The staff was all very welcoming and kind, I am used to being rushed through appointments without much care shown and I was pleasantly surprised by the time each staff member took with me and the genuine care and concern that was shown! Would definitely recommend this practice.
