Oksana McFall, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant who works with children, adolescents, and adults to provide mental health care for various psychiatric disorders and challenges. Oksana believes that mental health is an important aspect of life and that it guides people to maintain physical health, work productively, develop meaningful relationships, and cope with life stressors efficiently.
Oksana holds a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Northern Arizona University, Phoenix Biomedical campus with a distinction. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and pre-PA studies from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Oksana is passionate about giving back to the community and has been volunteering at Mayo Clinic as well as tutoring children from low-income families to help with their education.
Oksana was motivated by the belief that mental health is the foundation of human well-being. She enjoys the gratification received when assisting people and helping them experience their life’s potential to the fullest.
Oksana is originally from Ukraine and had spent her early career in international business. Soon after her son had been diagnosed with leukemia, Oksana made the decision to enter the field of medicine. Oksana then received her master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies and developed a passion for working in the field of mental health. After graduation, Oksana began working as a psychiatric physician assistant with children, adolescents, and adults. Her duties consisted of both performing inpatient and outpatient care. Oksana currently practices for the Mental Health Center of America where she helps patients with various psychiatric needs and challenges to maintain a well-balanced level of mental health.
When Oksana is not busy taking care of her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Buster. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, and traveling.
