Great to meet you! Are you having trouble with emotions? Are you having difficulty with sleep? Do you have difficulty with attention, focus, or motivation to complete tasks? Thanh can help. Thanh is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner from California State University and a post-graduate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program for specialization in psychiatric services. Being dually board certified in psychiatry and primary care, he has the expertise to treat various mental and physical health disorders. My approach to providing mental healthcare is centered around a holistic, patient-focused model. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, by considering their biological, psychological, and social factors. I work closely with my patients to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and open communication, which I believe is crucial for effective treatment. Psychopharmacology is an essential component in treating many mental health conditions, particularly when there is a clear biological component. I aim to tailor medication plans to the individual’s needs, regularly assessing their progress and adjusting treatment as needed. What you can expect from our first session During a first session with me, patients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they’ll be encouraged to share their experiences and concerns. The primary focus of the first session is to get to know each other and establish a foundation of trust. We’ll spend time discussing the patient's background, current challenges, and any relevant medical or psychiatric history. This helps me gain a comprehensive understanding of their mental health and develop a treatment plan tailored to their needs. By the end of the first session, we will have a clearer sense of the goals for treatment and what the next steps will look like moving forward
