Dr. Gore burg is an amazing person! Today I went to him with a complaint and with his care, my eye irritation was resolved, something that could have been resolved by the CityMD emergency a month ago.
There was an eye lash stuck and he took it out and also gave me a eye drop for free that could have costed me a fortune if purchased from a pharmacy. Thank you!!

In our new office, we use the latest technological innovations such as computerized visual acuity charts. Our examination equipment allows us to see patients bound to wheelchairs.
We use the latest generation of Humphry Visual Field Analyzer, making it possible to diagnose glaucoma at the very earliest stage and successfully manage insidious diseases.
We are especially proud of our newest nonmidriatic fundus camera that makes it possible to see a wide field image of the retina without dilatation of the pupils.
Yet we didn't mention our Optical Coherence Tomograph. This machine allows us to see the cross section of all layers of the retina. And what is most important, this test is absolutely harmless because light is used to scan the tissue - not radiation.
Our office is clean and spacious. Our staff is friendly and helpful.
You don't need to wait in line for hours. We offer minimum waiting time, yet maximum attention to each patient.
In our new clinic, we also have an optical store with a wide variety of optical frames and sun glasses.

I decided to see this dr based on reviews, when my optometrist was out of town and I needed to re order contacts. When I got there I learned that the dr has a strict policy to charge an out of pocket amount for a contact lens exam and prescription. I explained that my insurance covers this but they said everyone has to pay it. I went to see my optometrist today, had an eye exam, contact lens evaluation, recieved a prescription for contact lens, glasses and he even ordered 8 boxes of contacts because my insurance covers it. The front desk at Dr. Gorenburg's office told me it doesn't (and that they don't provide contacts either just the prescription).

I don't remember even one time when I wouldn't flinch when checking the eyesight, but not with this doctor! Everything went very smoothly! He was not rushing, answered all my questions! I would definitely recommend Dr Igor Gorenburg to anyone he needs a really wonderful ophthalmology doctor!
