The word "midwife" means "with women." I received care from a certified nurse-midwife during my second pregnancy, and the experience made me aware of this unique profession, which allows me to support women at all stages of their life cycle. As a certified nurse-midwife, I work with my patients not. The latest information about the 2019 Novel Coronavirus, including vaccine clinics for children ages 6 months and older, only during their pregnancy and delivery, but throughout their reproductive life span even after menopause.
I respect my patients as autonomous people with unique belief systems, life experiences and situations. I come as an expert in women's health,
pregnancy and childbirth, and I offer my expertise, training, and dedication to help them navigate their health care needs during pregnancy, child birth and the rest of their life span. My work also includes a focus on sexuality and overall well-being. My job is to create a safe, culturally appropriate and supportive health care environment for my patients where they can thrive and become confident, empowered women. I feel so privileged to be in a profession that is holistic and patient- and familyfocused. It gives me the unique opportunity to be a part of people's lives during their most vulnerable and exciting times.
