She was quite dismissive when her treatment didn't work well for me and practically threw me out of her office.

I do not recommend. Was rude from start to finish. Asked me if there was anything else I wanted to mention and gave me attitude when I re-iterated my concerns. Very dismissive and even lecture me about karma after asking personal questions. Bed side manner could definitely be improved, as well as being empathetic with others.

Honestly, this was the most antagonistic provider experience I have ever encountered.
During the entire visit, I did not at once feel like I was being "helped", despite Olga's assurances to the contrary. From the very minute I started to talk to her, she was aggressive and controlling.
When I tried to tell my work that I would be late for a meeting because the appointment was going later than I expected, she became extremely aggressive and I cancelled the appointment mid-way.
Hands down, this is the worst Psychiatrist I have ever worked with.

Barely looks at her patient. Just asks questions as if it’s a questionnaire. Doubted that I was taking my medications because she claims I had none left even though my prescription history completely lines up. Considering switching because I am in tears after this terrible appointment.

She did not let me speak. She was very straight forward that she was there to medicate me and not listen other than what she needed to hear enough to determine what my Rx will be. Because she is a Dr. that was her role and that maybe she was not what I was looking for. I felt nervous but I went forward with the appointment anyways.
Not quite a satisfying experience and this was my first time ever.

I am livid. I made an appointment which was immediately rescheduled. Okay, that's fine I was a new patient, that happens. I then was sent some forms to fill out in the world's least convenient format, so I sent them in late causing my appointment to be rescheduled again. Okay, that one was on me. When my appointment finally came she was 10 minutes late and within three minutes she told me that she wouldn't provide me medication. She seemed absolutely angry to be there.
Why would a psychiatrist act so angry to be there. Why would they have allowed me to make the appointment if they weren't willing to provide me medication.

I only saw Dr. Tchikindas for an initial consult, but she seemed smart and she was definitely kind and seemed pretty thoughtful. I did kind of get the sense that she had decided my diagnosis early on, and was looking for evidence to support it. Some of the things I said I wasn't struggling with, she seemed to decide I WAS struggling with. However when I brought up minor concerns with her medication thoughts, she was receptive and she seemed very willing to help me evaluate things as time goes on, so I am happy to give what she suggested a try.

She asked very targeted questions, but was very nice. The main concern is that she diagnosed me with something and prescribed something without much explanation and on first meeting. I saw another psychiatrist and was told this is concerning and no one should be prescribed something after just an initial meeting.

Very sincere and professional. Only trouble she has a thick accent, little tough to understand. Otherwise she seemed extremely eager to help and very informative.

This initial visit was very informative. I left with clear recommendations for positive action on issues I didn't expect to find salient as of when I arrived.

Dr. Tchikindas was very presumptuous and judgemental. I think she had it fixed in mind that because I was looking for a second opinion, offering me a new diagnosis (Bipolar I) was the best option. She was fishing for information that would confirm her suspicions, with no room for doubt or understanding that patients might be susceptible or pressured in the moment to comply (due to the intimidating authority imposed by a doctor who has limited time and resources to even care for you).

After several visits I have come to see Dr Tchikindas is a very patient and competent psychiatrist. Bedside manner is good too though at first I didn't think so. Give it time.

She was frustrated that my history was complicated. Very dismissive of my concerns and appears to have disregarded some very pertinent medical and psychiatric information of mine. Her recommendations for medication regimen changes were bizarre but we did come to an agreement. This is only a review of my consultation. I will see how my next few visits with her go. Overall, her bedside manner is just plain awful but that isn't necessarily a good indicator of the quality of treatment.

Didn't seem like she really cared about my personal story with mental health - only wanted a broad picture and put me in a box. Walked out crying. Would not recommend.
