Dr. Olubunmi Akintola ,is Board Certified, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She went on to complete her OB/GYN residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has since moved to Fort Bend County to be closer to her family. Her decision to join the kindhearted and passionate group of physicians at Center for Women’s Health was an easy one after meeting and interviewing with a number of practices in the area.
Dr. Olude’s childhood afforded her the opportunity to travel and experience multiple cultures at an early age. This allowed her to develop a cultural sensitivity that continues to serve her well in her interaction with her patients today. The job of a physician requires a strong work ethic, compassion, confidence and humility, and she models her practice with these attributes in mind.
Dr. Olude counts it a privilege to be able to help her patients navigate through the full spectrum of women’s health from adolescent to adult gynecological care, childbirth and menopause. Of all the wonderful things that the field of obstetrics and gynecology offers, Dr. Olude most loves to deliver babies. She also has a particular interest in minimally invasive gynecological surgery. Dr. Olude believes that patients should understand all their treatment options so they can make the best medical decision for themselves. She enjoys teaching and her passion for teaching was recognized when she received the Resident Teaching award in her second year of residency.
In her free time, Dr. Olude enjoys spending time with her husband and their son. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and is determined to become an avid runner. Dr. Olude would love to meet you and provide your obstetrical care.

The front office staff as well as the medical assistant were were both friendly, and Dr. Olude was fantastic. Dr. Olude was also very informative regarding the different types of birth control I could begin. Very pleased with my experience!
