He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterology Association; American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin; he is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu. Dr. Masood earned his medical education from St. George’s University and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at the Nassau University Medical Center. After the completion of his residency, in which he was name chief resident, Dr. Masood was named an associate residency program director.
Dr. Masood treats various gastrointestinal illnesses and conditions such as constipation, nausea, pancreas and gall bladder issues, alcoholism, irritable bowel syndrome, gallstones, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis. He utilizes cutting edge technologies to treat these ailments, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, video capsule endoscopy, enteroscopy, and BRAVO – a pH monitoring of the esophagus.

Dr. Omer seems professional but the ladies they work in that office are nasty and less professional... they have a nasty attitude like you forcing them to work there. No matter of welcome note mostly if you going there for the first time... their customer service is below 0. I had two appointments with Dr. Masood and I definitely would not recommend him further. Dr. Masood's office was extremely disorganized. The woman working at the front desk and the hygienist were frequently yelling back and forth to each other, unorganized and unsure of who gave who what forms and checked patients in, etc. The first time it took me about 60 minutes to be seen. The second time, it took about 30 minutes. Dr. Masood didn't help me resolve my problem and dismissed it within the first appointment. Although he ran the tests that I requested, there was no sense of urgency as he told me to come back in a month for the results. When I came back the hygenist was not even sure if my results were in. In the end, Dr. Masood really had no recommendations and could not help me with my problem. Do not waste your time and money.
