“Amazing service. I presented with an emergency situation after 2 hospital visits, and flying back up to see my primary care doctor. No referrals had appointments for 3+ months and only with NP’s instead of MD’s. This office got me in immediately. The doctor listened to everything I had to say. As a former medical worker she was able to answer detailed questions from a first-time patient she’d first met with excellent answers. A very ‘real’ doctor based strongly in reality; no-nonsense. More tests and scans were needed. She got me in immediately everywhere; even those fully booked made time for a very urgent situation. Extraordinarily great service from doctor and all office staff. Highly recommend - I was lucky to find her.”

Andrea Sacknoff, MD, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. Dr. Sacknoff completed her internship and fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital, where her fellowship included the world-renowned Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program, providing her with extensive endoscopic training and research experience. Before entering private practice, Dr. Sacknoff served on the faculty at North Shore University Hospital in the Division of Gastroenterology. There, she cared for patients, taught GI fellows, delivered lectures, and continued her clinical research. Her clinical interests include colorectal cancer screening, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis), and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

I felt the doctor wasn’t very patient or empathetic for the reasoning I was there, She made me feel like I was wasting her time and spoke to me as if I wasn’t as intelligent as her if I didn’t understand or have information to certain questions. She may be a kind person generally but this was my personal experience and unfortunately it was negative, I would probably see a different physician next time. Other than that the ladies at the front desk were super sweet & helpful and the nurse was so kind to me, made me feel super comfortable, basically an angel!

My visit was for a specific abdominal discomfort that I am currently feeling and just felt that it was ignored and she said to just take over counter after I specifically said this happened 10 years ago n had upper endoscopy n had 4 ulcers. She didn’t seem concerned about it.
