I have seen Dr. Vasquez before. I was amazed at how quickly he was able to diagnose the problem and immediately started solving it. X-rays were taken and interpreted in a very short time. I was very satisfied.

Dr. Vazquez completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology and Behavior. He attended John Hopkins University where he was awarded his Doctor of Medicine in 2003. He continued his studies at New York University/Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he was a Resident from June 2003 to June 2008. After finishing his Residency, Dr Vazquez received specialty training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder & Elbow Surgery as a Fellow at the University of Southern California studying under Dr. James Tibone and Dr. John Itamura.
Dr. Vazquez has particular proficiency in advanced arthroscopic procedures including the shoulder, elbow, and hip. He also specializes in shoulder and elbow trauma, joint reconstruction, and replacements including revisions. In addition, he has training in the latest techniques for total hip and knee replacements, including resurfacing and partial replacements.
Dr. Vazquez has served as the team physician for many of the University of Southern California’s collegiate teams. He is the author of numerous research studies and papers detailing the treatment of a variety of Sports Injuries.
Dr. Vazquez is a native of Northern New Jersey where he attended Queen of Peace High School and was the Captain of the Varsity Tennis team. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish

doesn't introduce his interns or residents that come into the room with him, didn't even wait for consent re: cortisone injection was going to do it regardless. chewing gum, using words like crap and hell. said arthrogram mri was useless and ultrasound guided injection was overkill. said prev surgery was unnecessary. didn't want me to speak for my minor teen child re: medications told me to let her answer. he's got a ton of negative reviews, i should have researched more. it's a waste of time to see this immature doctor .

I am 100% satisfied with Doctor Vazquez since the first appointment. I have seen him a few times already and always pleasant about his professionalism.He always took his time to answer every question I had and never felt he was in a rush I had surgery 5 months ago and could not be any happier. .I am almost pain free and training 6 times a week biking, swimming and running. I will never going to forget Dr. Vazquez and what he did for me. I would recommend this doctor to anyone and will not hesitate to see him again if I ever have any other issue.
