About Dr. Pramod Voleti
Dr. Pramod B. Voleti graduated from Princeton University with high honors in Molecular Biology. He then received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. During medical school, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society and earned the Christopher Pavlides Award for Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Voleti completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed an additional fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery. During this fellowship, he provided medical coverage for the Brooklyn Nets, Iona College Athletics, and high school football teams in the Public Schools Athletic League.
Dr. Voleti specializes in a wide variety of conditions involving the shoulder, elbow, and knee with a special interest and expertizes in sports medicine, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, elbow tendinopathy, knee ligament reconstruction, meniscal pathology, and cartilage restoration.
Dr. Voleti’s research has been published in over thirty peer-reviewed publications, five book chapters, and thirty presentations at regional, national, and international meetings. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Doctor made his diagnosis before even looking at my knee x-ray. Quite frankly, I don’t even think he actually looked at my x-ray. He made his diagnosis from the question and answering session between his assistant and I. I feel that doctor Voleti didn’t show enough concern for my situation. I feel like I was rushed, and referred to therapy.

Dr. Voleti and his team was my second opinion Dr. for a pain in my right knee in 2020. I had to have surgery. It was successful.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, my left knee started exhibiting a familiar pain, so I logged onto Zocdoc and I was happy to see he was a Dr. Who works with Zocdoc. He examined me and referred me to xray and an MRI. I know I am in good hands with him and his staff.

He seemed like a nice person but didn’t seem to care much about the fact that I was in a tremendous amount of pain. I guess there wasn’t much he could do except prescribe high dose ibuprofen (which I could’ve just taken on my own) so it felt like a complete waste of time. Spent maybe 5 minutes with me. Most likely won’t go back to him.
