Dr. Shripada takes the time to listen to my concerns and advises me in a professional manner. She does not talk down to me and if I don't understand what she is trying to convey, she explains until I do. She cares about the whole person she is treating, and not just a series of symptoms. I would definitely recommend her as a family doctor.

I went to medical school at Osmania Medical College, India, and completed Residency at Abington Memorial Hospital, PA. I worked there for a year before moving to Albany, NY in 2001. I worked in an outpatient practice owned by Northeast Health from 2001 to June 2006.
This was a traditional primary care practice with all the common problems faced by the large group practices today–rushed office visits, long waiting times, phone lines that were impossible to get through, missed reports, and endless bureaucracy. After unsuccessful attempts to fix some of the problems, I realized I was becoming extremely unhappy in this work environment, and opened a solo practice in June 2006.
Besides work I spend as much time as possible with my daughter. I play my slide guitar, and sing Indian classical music, and would love to learn to dance, if I ever have the time.
