When it comes to community service, Dr. Leung has acted as an advisor to Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian organization that provides medical care to populations in crisis around the world. In 2016, he volunteered for a mission with Doctors Without Borders in a remote village in South Sudan where he treated everything from infections to broken bones to traumatic wounds. Dr. Leung is also involved with trying to solve problems closer to home, particularly youth violence, and is the sponsoring physician for Einstein's Think First program that aims to prevent traumatic brain injury in teens by discouraging high-risk activities such as drinking and driving and encourages the use of seat belts and bike helmets.
