About Dr. Joel Goldshore
Dr. Joel Goldshore is a warm and compassionate primary care physician at Stoll Medical Group. He received his bachelor’s degree from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He moved to Philadelphia to complete his residency in family medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

I was looking for a new primary care doctor and I'll have to keep looking. My appointment was at 1245 and over an hour later an assistant/nurse came to tell me it's going to be longer. I have to go back to work so I left. If I can't trust you with my time, I can't trust you with my health. The assistants were fine and doing their best and seemed apologetic about the experience.

Dr. Goldshore was extremely patient and kind when listening to my concerns. There were no feelings of judgement or condescension. In fact, he shared a personal anecdote that made his demeanor even easier to connect and agree with.

The worst healthcare experience I've ever had. Starting off with the extremely rude front desk staff who made it clear she did not want to help me as well being careless enough to misspell my name that I both wrote and typed. Then I got vitals taken by an MA and waited over an hour before the provider saw me, and the provider saw me for under 10-minutes. During this under 10-minute visit, the provider asked me basic medical history questions, but DID NOT PHYSICALLY EXAMINE ME AT ALL. He had 0 physical contact with me other than shaking hands and did not check my airways, any part of my body, ask about my physical wellness, exercise, etc., or check a singular part of my body. He simply asked a few history questions I had already told the MA and the only testing done was labs were drawn, which was only because I explicitly asked for them. The visit was so fast and careless, I did not even realize it was over. It has been over a week, and he has yet to review my abnormal labs or refer me.

Highly recommend Dr. Joel Goldshore, MD. He has excellent bedside manner and truly takes the time to listen. He’s a clear communicator, explains everything thoroughly, and makes you feel comfortable and heard. The office experience was just as great—very clean, welcoming, and well-organized, with a friendly and professional staff. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Would absolutely recommend.

Dr. Goldshore is a great choice for a primary care doctor. He’s takes the time to listen to you, get to know you as a person, and gives considerable explanations for things—he’s not “short” with communicating at all. I was looking for a new PCP after a few recent medical events and decided to try Stoll and Dr. Joel Goldshore. I had to reschedule my initial appointment because my baby got sick and getting another appointment within a reasonable time was very easy. The office staff were nice and professional. I was in the waiting room for maybe 5 minutes before being taken back. Dr. Goldshore did an incredible job walking through all of the life changes that I had had -- honestly more than I even planned to -- but he left no stone unturned and I really appreciated it. All of my concerns were addressed and he had great bedside manner while doing it. I'll definitely be returning.
